Path of Heart !!!

I have been waiting to write my first blog. And before starting I would like to thank all those people who have encouraged me to write and asked me to share my views on some issues.

The first thing which I would like to share with all the readers is about a philosophy which I came across in the first trimester of my MBA which was titled as ‘Path of Heart’ written by Don Juan. He discussed few very strange things; he said that during the course of life for every person to become a knowledge man he has to face four natural enemies:

  1. 1. Fear (Which stops him from doing anything)
  2. 2. Clarity (When a man never doubts himself that is he thinks he knows it all)
  3. 3. Power (When a man has no command over himself and don’t know how to use his power)
  4. 4. Old age (Won’t be able to defeat can only fight away)

Any path you select for your life you have to face all these enemies step by step, and the amazing thing is that any path you select in life will lead to nowhere. Surprising isn’t it. Now the question arise what do we do? Which path should we follow then? The answer to this question is very simple: Follow the ‘PATH OF HEART’. Before you embark any path you have to answer one question that does this path has my heart? This reminds me of a session by Prof. Debashish Chakrobarty who while discussing the rules of happiness said that the path for your long term goal should also make you happy.

Now we can say that every decision we take should be the one which have our heart and soul. For all friends who have been confused in their life about various questions like:

  • · Which course should I do Aviation or MBA?
  • · Which university should I take?
  • · Should I take a drop for CAT?
  • · Should I join my dad after studies or should I make my own standing?
  • · My parents want me to get married?
  • You think I will be able to live with this girl/boy for my entire life?

Anybody can suggest you but it’s you who need to answer all questions, and the answer is there within your heart. Good luck for your future decisions my friend, I hope this will help you and also if you find me cribbing next time make me read my blog.

Never forget the famous quotation “You are the cause of the matter in your life”.

Your views on the same are awaited.

  1. I agree with you completely..... people should relate to whatever they are doing in their life... and this is possible only and only if they take their decisions straight from the heart.... i truly believe that your heart is the best indicator of right and wrong.... i don't know if people have given importance to their sixth sense... but i surely have.. and whenever i do anything wrong.. something, somewhere, in some manner indicates me not to do it..... that is a signal straight from your heart.....
your heart can never lead you to anything wrong..... because it always takes you where you really want to go and makes you do what you actually want to do beyond the manipulations by the mind!!
And even if it puts you in a weird situation then its okay... just remember one thing nothing is perfect....

DECISIONS MADE STRAIGHT FROM YOUR HEART ARE THE DECISIONS OF A LIFETIME.....

AND YOUR MIND CAN BE INFLUENCED NOT YOUR HEART!!!

  5. I agree wid u adi....it is like :-

If we are enjoying in anything which we are doing, and wer our heart is then, we are definitely gonna learn something from every minor bit of the work we are doing

and if we dont enjoy anything in doing a certain piece of work, then believe me, even if we put up your best efforts, all that we will get is criticism.

  6. Old age can be fought if you have the strength and faith that come what may you can and will win. Power comes when you have clarity in your thoughts and action and you trust them regardless of what others think. Whether your friends or family supports you or no if you follow your heart you have a clear way and you overcome the fear in the course of it. But the main question which lies is whether what you are doing is right or wrong and that can only be answered by self. So trust your own self more than anyone. As it is rightly said:
"In tough times you will find two hands eagerly waiting to help you & those hands will be at the end of your own arms!"...

  12. Somewhere I have a difference in the opinion. I feel that people taking decisions from the heart are fooled, in this practical world. You have to take your decisions very wisely in this competitive world to be ahead of all. Being emotional and sentimental will surely make you a good human but you cannot reach the top.

  13. I am sorry. I am not discarding your thoughts. I just meant that I have a difference in opinion.

  14. @ blog - I respect the opinion which you have but you need to answer one thing within yourself and that is whether you are happy with the decision or not, if you are then you already are following a path of heart and you don't care to be fooled. But if you are not following you are fooling yourself.

  16. @ Deepal - Thank you for reading and commenting deepal. It is nice to see that you take few decisions with your mind, but girl does your heart also have a role to play in it or not and if not do you seriously feel satisfied doing that work?

  17. Hi Aditya
your blog made me to think about this but i found that its not easy to follow our heart. i am not encountering you but i want you to think again that heart makes u weak but mind gives u happiness.
    keep it and think it

  18. @ laxman - Thank you for your view and I am really glad you came up with this counter view. There are many others who have been saying this but my point is just that only path of heart gives you happiness and rest other part may give you success but not satisfaction.

  19. Hi Aditya, Good that you are following your heart. I need your help, taking a decision. Please suggest me, what would you do if you were at my position. I want to go to States for my further studies. My father, he is all-alone here in India and don’t want me to leave him alone. I cannot take him along. I have a job offer after finishing my MBA (2 years). What would you do? Take the decision from your heart and sacrificed your career or left your father alone for 2 years to make his rest of the life smooth and comfortable?

    HEART OR BRAIN ???

    This is a hypothetical situation.....

    ReplyDelete
  20. @ blog - Nothing to offend but just to remind that I am not a spiritual guru, this thing touched my heart and thought of sharing.

But if such a situation would have come to me I would not leave my father and go because my heart would never allow me to leave him alone.
Thats my heart, completely with my family's decision. (But again to remind: thats me and my opinion, you should follow what your heart says)

  21. I like your approach. But I know, hypothetical situations have hypothetical answers. All the best for your future. I like you thinking process. Keep writing, and always follow your heart.

  24. hai Adi
I am agree with your words. Honestly I enjoyed your blog.No dout we need to make decision in our life which make us happy.
but one question or I want some of your views about :- force of life divert our decisions as against our wishes
How could we tackel them ?
what are thinks wich can help us ?
write some for me .... thanks

    ReplyDelete
  25. @ Manoj - Firstly I would like to thank you for reading and asking this question, but honestly I would like to say that the forces which divert our decisions can be tackled or if they can't then they change the direction of heart.
For eg: If you say some person wants to go to abroad to study but finds it difficult to finance, so he will search various ways of raising the finance and still he is not able to then he will find a different course of life but will be satisfied with his efforts.

    Thats my perception.
